Planet Booty Shelter-In-Place With New Singe & Video

PlanetBooty_Stars.jpg

2018 and 2019 were huge years for Oakland’s Planet Booty with tours all around the US with TWRP and Ninja Sex Party. Then in January 2020 the trio announced an East Coast Tour this Spring, but before that tour could happen, COVID-19 struck the world and put everyone on lock down.

If anyone thought shelter-in-place could stop Planet Booty from entering your minds and bodies, they were surely wrong. The band adapted quickly and released their newest single “You’re A Star” on March 24, followed by the music video in mid-April showing off their dance moves and creativity at home.

Tour dates have been rescheduled for September, so let’s hope the world gets a little bit back to normal by then! If you haven’t seen this extraordinary band live yet, you’re missing out. It’s worth every dollar to see their high-energy, stage commanding, theatrical, and fun live show that’s bound to get your body moving!

Life Size Models Debut New Songs & Video

LSM_Cusack1984ImOnFire.jpg

San Jose alt-rockers Life Size Models have been busy in 2020! The band really solidified their sound and are taking the Bay Area music scene by storm, going to NAMM, recording at Tiny Telephone, releasing new songs produced by Doe Eye, and debuting an awesome music video. It’s wonderful to see a band I’ve loved since the beginning grow so much in every way that counts.

First LSM released a new version of their hit “Bayshore Freeway” on January 17th and dedicated it to founding member Vincent Gamboa, who co-wrote the original and sadly passed away in 2017. Then on February 27th, they released an awesome music video for the song, which got some coverage by Music Press Junkie. You can check out the video below!

On April 9th, LSM premiered their new singles “Cusack, 1984” and “I’m On Fire” via Live A Little Bit Louder. Those singles led to some great interviews in Breathing The Core and Vents Magazine, as well as being featured in The Prelude Press!

I’m honestly loving everything they’re putting out and really proud of all the hard work they’ve put in. It’s really opening doors for them and I can’t wait to see what’s next. I highly encourage you follow them on Spotify and check out the new music!!

Lead singer Kyna Wise really bears her soul in this song which is about sexual abuse and the video features quotes from other women that Kyna interviewed that deal with this important topic. Influential music blog Consequence of Sound featured the video in a powerful article and Topgolf’s Who Will Rock You also showed their support in promoting the new tune.

Frantic Romantic's "Ready To Go" Cover Premiered on Soundwaves TV

FR_ReadyToGo_Artwork.jpg

Our friends at Soundwaves TV premiered Frantic Romantic’s newest music video for their cover of Republica’s “Ready To Go” last night! The video was filmed in my backyard and really captures the live performance aspect of the band, especially the commanding presence of lead singer Mr. Kerosene.

Personally, I think the band did a great job capturing the original songs energy, yet still making it their own. Curious to hear what you all think of it!

The single will be out on all outlets this week, including Spotify and Apple Music! Next Sunday June 23, Soundwaves TV will feature Frantic Romantic’s interview with them, so tune in at 7pm PDT!

Frantic Romantic Release The Wolf In Newest Song & Video

FranticRomantic_Lobo.jpg

Amping up for a wild Friday? So is this werewolf. Watch his night out on the town in Frantic Romantic’s latest music video “Un Lobo Entre Nosotros.”

The video follows a lonely wolf creeping the city streets and causing some trouble, as well as the band and friends dressed in various animal heads jammin’ out to the song. Not only does watching the video make you wish you’d been at the video filming in your own animal spirit mask, but it also conveys that there’s a little wolf in all of us.

Stay tuned for another awesome video coming this Spring with the release of their full new album!

San Jose’s new dream-pop rockers Frantic Romantic released their first single “At Night” today with an awesome music video! Thanks to PureGrainAudio for debuting the band’s moody song about solitude, as well as the incredible artwork of their upcoming album.

Lead singer Mr. Kerosene talks about the making of the video in the article, stating:
”We really wanted to play into the title and the mood of the song, which is basically bleak solitude. The whole band is separated, playing this song in their version of the same room.”
