For all the fans of Skyway View, the band has reemerged on the Bay Area scene today as Frantic Romantic after teasing the new project on social media for the last few weeks. Reminiscent of 80’s new wave sound and 90’s pop culture, the band’s signature dream-pop sound is sure to captivate audiences of all ages. San Jose alternative rockers Skyway View got prehistorically violent in their new music video for "Never Let Me Go!" If you're a fan of Chuck Palahniuk, Fight Club, and dinosaurs, then you are going to love this vide that must have been a blast to film! Thanks to the Silicon Valley Metro for the press on the video premiere show.
San Jose's favorite alternative rockers Skyway View released their official music video for "Made of Glass" just in time for Christmas! The video really shows off the stage personality of the band with live footage from their show earlier this month at Art Boutiki, as well as solo footage from frontman Mr. Kerosene on the streets.
Barb Rocks welcomes ambient rockers Skyway View to my booking roster! Skyway View features passionate vocals, over-melodic guitars, atmospheric keys, driving bass lines, and stadium drums to their 80's influenced sound that reminisces bands like The Cure and Psychedelic Furs, with a frontman in the likes of Scott Weiland that really captures the audience. Vocalist Mr. Kerosene used to front East Bay rockers Drop Dead Sixty, whom I used to manage, so teaming up with this project is just a natural progression. I look forward to chasing the sky with this talented six-piece that's flying high!
Skyway View's single "Made of Glass" just won Akadamia's September 2016 award for best Alternative Rock band and they have a cool video for "Crimson Petal"!
