ParkPlus Pass + SC Speaks:
The ParkPlus Pass will give you access to San Lorenzo Park, SC Speaks & all participating venues, except, The Civic Auditorium & The Catalyst Club. Please see event info for the full list of venues and their age restrictions. Due to the age restrictions of the venues, the ParkPlus will only be sold to those over 21. The Go Ahead Announce Shows & Spotify Playlist Placements

San Francisco rockers The Go Ahead announced new shows starting with Pop Rocks Presents show on Wednesday August 7 at Harvard & Stone (Los Angeles), Balanced BreakFEST on Saturday September 21 at Amnesia (San Francisco), and Santa Cruz Music Festival on Saturday October 19 at Blue Lagoon (Santa Cruz).

Their new single “Falling To Pieces” has also been picked up by a few Spotify Playlists, including Just Indie (by It’s All Indie), Chill Days (by Caltify MX), and Lyft Essentials (Day Mode) (by Lyft Essentials).

The Go Ahead Debut Powerful New Video "Falling Out Of Place"

San Francisco female-fronted rock band The Go Ahead debut new song “Falling Out Of Place” on June 30th! The song’s music video was first featuring in Soundwaves TV’s Episode #28 (at 10:05 mark) with a wonderful intro from Dennis Willis, with a separate more detailed post later that night.

Lead singer Kyna Wise really bears her soul in this song which is about sexual abuse and the video features quotes from other women that Kyna interviewed that deal with this important topic. Influential music blog Consequence of Sound featured the video in a powerful article and Topgolf’s Who Will Rock You also showed their support in promoting the new tune.

The Go Ahead Play Gestures & Sounds Album Release Show

Gestures & Sounds announced their album release show on Thursday, November 15, stacked with performances by The Go Ahead [SF], North By North, Will Moore [Seattle] & Mint Trip at the Hi Hat in Los Angeles. The Go Ahead Playing Two Female-Themed SF Shows on 10/27

The Go Ahead are bombarding San Francisco with two shows this Saturday, October 27th! First, the band takes the stage at Bandwagon’s “Women In Music” event with The She’s and Zelma Stone from 12-6pm, part of their Summer Music Series at Anchor Taps. Then, the band rocks PianoFight’s Femme Fatale Halloween Party with Thrown Out Bones from 10pm on, so dress as your favorite lady of the night and join in on the dancing and costume contests for the best dressed lethal enchantress!

The Go Ahead Selected For Topgolf's Who Will Rock You Season 2!

After auditioning in LA back in September, The Go Ahead were selected for Season 2 of Topgolf’s Who Will Rock You digital series! The band will compete with 23 other bands from all around the US with the hopes to advance to the finals in Nashville and win! If you’re in Las Vegas on Oct 21st or Oct 22nd, you can apply to be in the audience for the filming and get paid for it. As of right now, The Go Ahead are scheduled to film on Monday October 22nd. San Francisco rockers The Go Ahead just announced back-to-back shows in San Francisco and Santa Monica!  First up is their show at Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco headlining Sit Kitty Sit's album release show on Friday May 4th.  Then celebrating Cinco De Mayo and their drummer's birthday, the band is performing Saturday May 5th at TRiP Santa Monica.  Whether you live in NorCal or SoCal, there's no excuse to miss them playing!

The Go Ahead Announce "In Harms Way" EP Release Show

San Francisco alt rockers The Go Ahead just announced their EP Release Show for In Harms Way on Friday December 15 at the Elbo Room.  The show also features their good friend Will Weston headlining and Mobile Steam Unit from NYC opening.

The Go Ahead are also releasing their new single "On My Side" with a brand new music video around mid-November, so stay tuned for details!

After a few months on only being able to hear the new single on Live105's Soundcheck program, The Go Ahead release their long-awaited single "About To Burst" on all major outlets, followed by news that their new EP named In Harms Way will be coming on this Fall.  You can buy "About To Burst" on iTunes and stream the catchy tune on Spotify.

Management Roster Songs Played in SF Giants BallPark Radio Show!

I am proud to announce that you can officially hear music from The Go Ahead, Planet Booty, and Lucas Gordon at San Francisco Giants and Oakland A's games in The Bay Area's BallPark Radio Show live from AT&T Park!

The online stream of this radio show will launch this weekend and there will be social media notification for all songs that play during the shows. There will also be a free app available in the iTunes app store first and android will soon follow. With the app, you will be able to share and tweet when the songs are played to let the fans know.

Planet Booty & The Go Ahead Play Steampunk Masquerade

Airpusher Collective & Vau de Vire present the 5th Annual Steampunk Masquerade under the big top in the East Bay.  The event is Saturday May 13th from 4pm to 2am and tickets are on sale now!  This event has so much going on including 1 big top, 5 acres of art, parading art cars, multiple indoor/outdoor stages, badass bands, ass-bumpin' DJs, circus, burlesque, and fire performances, artisan galleries and gardens, carnival rides, and food vendors.  My roster bands Planet Booty and The Go Ahead will be performing so that alone makes this event worth it!

SoFA Street Fair Coming Sun Sept 11

SoFA Street Fair returns this Sunday September 11 in the SoFA District of downtown San Jose and features a Barb Rocks stage at Forager featuring both The Go Ahead and Lucas Gordon.  Plust Citabria plays the Williams stage at 6:30pm.  Thanks to Metro Newspaper for listing Citabria as a must-see act!

Nemesis Media Inc. announced today the signing of The Go Ahead from San Francisco, CA. The Go Ahead feature a soulful and rhythmic sound, with the wonderfully melodic vocalist Kyna Wise providing a serene singing style. Barb Rocks Management Roster Picked Up The Go Ahead!

I am happy to announce that The Go Ahead from San Francisco are now part of my management roster!  This talented, high-energy bluesy-rock four piece is known for their incredibly unique sound, pulling from influences such as Incubus, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Primus, Fiona Apple and many more.  They're a nice blend of powerhouse grooves, soul-shaking bass, jaw-dropping guitar lines, and melodies packed with sheer emotion, which makes this band an experience unlike any other.  Vocalist Kyna Wise is an excellent front-woman that really pulls the audience in with her "barefood" performance.

I first met The Go Ahead when they were known as Jesús and the Rabbis and they played Woodstock's Pizza stage at the debut Santa Cruz Music Festival.  They played right after Pounders, ending the night with a lovely soulful energy.  A year later, with a new band name, I ran into them again when they played with Fritz Montana, which turned out to be a wonderful reconnect leading to some awesome show collaborations between the two bands.  I've really gotten to know the band over the past year, bonding even more this past March in Austin at SXSW.  I know this collaboration which will lead to some promising things and am excited for our future endeavors together.
